Dates for study leave for Y12 and Y13, and for school revision for Y11, have now been finalised and are in the attachment. These have also been publicised in forms and around school.

Ofqual have produced a guide for parents and carers on helping pupils to avoid plagiarism in coursework. The guide considers the following areas:
■ what is plagiarism?
■ why do students plagiarise?
■ why should other people’s work be attributed?
■ student verification of work.
■ identifying inauthentic work.
■ what are the penalties for plagiarism?
■ what help can I give?
Pupils are given special assemblies on coursework, including aspects of good practice as well as information about the consequences of not following the rules.

We'll use this Noticeboard to share information and documents that will hopefully help parents as well as students.
These online materials summarise the information given to students in assemblies and form time.
Students also receive personalised pink Individual Candidate Timetables for their exams. These are not available on the noticeboard as they are different for every pupil. If students lose them they can get a replacement from the Exams Office for 50p. No changes to these pink timetables are allowed on the day of the exam.
The notices cover all external exams, including A Levels and GCSEs.
