QES Music

Teenagers these days!

The students who made this report would like to thank Kendal College for allowing them to record duing a music session, together with teachers Mr Beale and Mr Burnett plus BTEC students Charlie and Harry.

Many people think that teenagers get up to no good! These people often think that in ‘these days’ teens don’t get involved in things such as music and showing off their talent to others.

But some Kirkby teenagers are doing things differently using music. These include students on the BTEC Music course at QES where students are starting to think more about what they want to do and keeps them out of trouble!

They are learning how to make professional music - and using their skills to contribute to the school's Band Nights, which are the best nights out for teens in Kirkby!

This report looks at what the students are doing on BTEC Music - and how that's helping to give local teens better things to do!
